Vintage temptations and homemade cake at The Dorchester Curiosity Centre

There are many wonderful local gems around Dorset, but the thing I keep coming back to at the moment is The Dorchester Curiosity Centre.

Based in a huge, old bus depot just outside Dorchester on the Grove Trading Estate, this fantastic warehouse is full to the brim with antiques, vintage clothing, furniture and enough interesting and exciting objects to keep anyone searching for hours. With over 92 traders there is something different every time you pop in. Just be careful, the temptations are endless. Last time I nearly bought some vintage wooden skis and a broken 1920s camera!

To top it all off they’ve set up a lovely little vintage style café in a French kitchen display area where they serve up a smashing cup of coffee and homemade cake.
